Liquid Paint Process Specifics
Powder coating was the initial technology that set MetoKote on the road to growth. Today, electrocoating represents the dominant technology applied at MetoKote. However, there is still a place for liquid painting on certain applications.
Powder coating and electrocoating technologies provide excellent performance and durability qualities. However, when working with non-metallic substrates such as plastics, many times the appropriate technology is liquid painting. One reason is because powder coating and electrocoating technology require curing at temperatures that can damage or distort the substrate.
Liquid painting is also an excellent technology option for finishing assembled components and products where powder coating and electrocoating may not be suitable.
MetoKote applies liquid paint to a variety of products and substrates including: plastic interior automotive components, truck wheels requiring special colors, tractor chassis assemblies and assembled machines. A special high temperature resistant liquid paint is applied to automotive exhaust system components.
The various liquid paint applications at MetoKote reflect our extensive application and engineering capabilities.
Does your company have a production coating challenge to be met? Does the challenge require unique application technology? If so, you can trust MetoKote.
