Here's What You Need To Do...
  1. Determine Eligibility

  2. Obtain a "Course Registration Form" from your Plant or Admin. Manager or by clicking this link.

  3. Go online and review the MetoKote Approved Courses and Course Descriptions (http://www.actcenters.com/marin/centersintro/courseware.asp?siteId=ltc1). At this time you may only choose from courses listed on the Course Registration Form. You will find many courses listed but only a portion of those are MetoKote Approved.

    • On the left side of the screen, you will find the listing of course groups available. Your approved course listing can be found in the following groups:

      • Management and Leadership
      • Personal Development
      • Computer Basics

    • Click on the group you would like to access. Then, click on the category you would like to look at. You should see a listing of courses in that category. Check on you Course Registration Form to locate the approved course titles, then click on those titles. You can then access detailed information about each course—length, detailed description, and course objectives—in a pop-up window.
    • Note: If you are taking these courses to fulfill your Leadership training requirements only those courses listed under the Management and Leadership or Personal Development categories will count towards these credits. Courses listed under the Computer Basics section will not count towards leadership hours.

  4. After you have reviewed the course listing and course descriptions please fill out the "Course Registration Form" accordingly and turn in to your Plant, Admin., or Annex Manager for approval. For Corporate personnel please have your Dept. Head sign off. The form will then be faxed in to April Syber/Rhodes State College at 419-995-8096 and a copy will be sent to Jennifer Niese (Corporate HR/Training). The original will be kept at the plant.

  5. Within 24-hours after the form has been faxed in to Rhodes State College, your unique user name and password will be e-mailed to your Plant, Admin., or Annex Manager. They will then write this information inside a User Guide and give it to you.

  6. The log in site for you to access your new courses is as follows: http://www.actcenters.com/marin/default.asp You will need to type in your new user name and password at this point to work on your new courses, as supplied on the cover of your user's guide.

  7. You will have 90 days to complete the course(s) that you are signing up for. If at the end of the 90-day period of time you are not finished, you may contact April Sybert at Rhodes State College to extend the time period.

  8. Periodically your Plant, Admin, or Annex Manager may ask to see a progress report. Each individual user can print out a Student Activity, Progress, and Session Detail Reports.

  9. When you have finished the course you must print out the Student Activity, Progress, and Session Detail Reports and turn them into your Plant, Admin, or Annex Manager in order to receive credit and to update your training record.
