A native of Washington State, Mr. Pettibone earned his B.S. in Agricultural Engineering from Washington State University.

Prior to joining MetoKote, Mr. Pettibone spent seven years in engineering leadership positions in the consumer durable goods industry. He was responsible for the product design engineering of Maytag's consumer laundry products and, more recently, he served as Vice President of Engineering for Spectrum Brands, Inc. in Madison, Wisconsin.

Mr. Pettibone also has significant experience in the development and manufacture of mobile industrial machinery. This included four years as Vice President of Product Development for NACCO Materials Handling Group, Portland, Oregon, and Quality Assurance experience from his time as the Director of Quality Assurance and Engineering for Clark Materials Handling Company, Lexington, Kentucky.

Earlier in his career, he worked for J.E. Love Company as a design and project engineer, where he developed several new specialty machines that are used in the agricultural and reforestation industries, and for Harsco Corporation, where he managed the development of armored, mobile, military systems.
