MetoKote Hopkinsville (KY) facility operates
a square transfer electrocoating (e-coat)
system that uses the latest technology available
in cleaners and PPG Powercron® electrocoat
material. Our coating services are utilized
in the appliance, automotive, agricultural,
industrial, furniture, truck and bus industries.
Our
monorail powder coat system, with in-line
spray cleaner pretreatment, provides high
quality finishes that can be formulated
to meet your specifications. We currently
have five shipping and receiving docks that
facilitate fast, organized and efficient
handling of your product. If needed, the
MetoKote Hopkinsville facility allows you
to leave your trailers for fast and trouble-free
order fulfillment.
Electrocoating
At
MetoKote Hopkinsville, we provide our customers
with a complete coating process. Our indexing
electrocoating line utilizes an 18"W
X 24"H X 60"L window that handles
a variety of parts. This line is equipped
with several pretreatment stages to clean
various types of metals. We have expertise
in paint masking techniques and building the
necessary fixtures to ensure perfectly coated
surfaces. All e-coat baths use lead and chrome
free paint, contain low VOCs and have no HAPS.

Powder
Coating
The
powder coating system provides two booths
with part windows of 36"W X 52"H
X 48"L, and utilizes interchangeable
color modules for efficient powder changes.
With an in-line cleaning system offering
a zinc phosphate pretreatment, this line
has the capability to coat parts quickly.
Our fixtures are engineered for a variety
of parts to ensure maximum efficiency and
part turnaround.
Light
Assembly and Packaging
In
addition to protective coatings, we offer
our customers the option of light assembly
and packaging for their parts. The Hopkinsville
facility can meet most special packing and
part assembly requirements.

Coating Flexibility
As

current protective coatings have been applied
