Capabilities

MetoKote Lapeer, Michigan has one large, monorail electrocoating (e-coat) line coating a variety of parts in black epoxy. All parts are cleaned and then pretreated with zinc phosphate and a non-chrome seal, providing a superior substrate for coating adhesion and corrosion resistance.
Electrocoating

The e-coat bath is made up of lead and chrome free paint and contains zero HAPS and low VOC's. This combination makes MetoKote Lapeer’s coating process and finished products environmentally advantageous.

The black epoxy e-coat line can handle parts up to 400 lbs. with a part window of 36" x 72" x 110".

Substrate Coating Flexibility
MetoKote constantly researches and evaluates new coating materials, techniques and substrates. Our coating equipment and processes are designed to process a variety of substrates including castings, forgings, steel stampings, aluminum, zinc die castings and galvanized sheet metal.
Logistics

The MetoKote Inventory Tracking System2 (MITS2) provides customers with accurate and timely inventory control. From the receiving department through the e-coat process, to the shipping of finished product, MITS keeps a complete accounting of product to assure quantities and the ability to meet shipping due dates.
