MetoKote
Lima has three electrocoat (e-coat) systems,
seven powder coat systems, and one plating line, all
designed for high volume production coating.
Small components to large parts receive
superior pretreatment and the latest in
corrosion resistant coating.
The
e-coat lines have both immersion tanks and
spray chambers for cleaning and pretreatment.
The large e-coat tanks have the latest version
of environmentally friendly material.
Electrocoating
Cathodic - high volume
e-coat lines for lowest cost and maximum
corrosion protection.
Alodine - excellent
corrosion protection for aluminum and
magnesium parts.
In-line cleaning systems.
Powder,
Liquid & Plating
Acrylic
- excellent weathering and UV
resistance.
Epoxy (low cure) - used
for temperature sensitive components,
for coating assemblies rather than individual
pieces, and for use on machined areas.
General Purpose -
nylon, polyester and epoxy lines. In-line
cleaning systems.
Small Parts Lines -
for fasteners, temporary crowns and pens.
Barrel Alkaline Zinc
Coating for small parts and fasteners.
Pretreatment
Various
cleaners, iron and zinc phosphates, alodines
and sealers are available.
Alodine Cleaning System - a stand-alone
process providing excellent corrosion
protection for aluminum parts.
Substrates
Coated
MetoKote constantly researches and evaluates new coating materials, techniques, and substrates. At Lima, the systems are designed to process weldments, assemblies, and stampings made of substrates including steel, cast iron, aluminum, magnesium and galvanealed sheet metal.
Logistics
Thirty-four
dock doors provide efficient trucking and
product logistics for unfinished and finished
goods. Computerized inventory tracking of
products (MetoKote Inventory Tracking System)
simplifies and upgrades shipping tasks.

state-of-the-art wastewater treatment system assures
the plant of compliance with all environmental regulations.

MetoKote
trained lab technicians, using sophisticated
laboratory equipment, perform all necessary
